The Quran and Modern Science Booklet
Author: Dr. Maurice Bucaille Edited by Dr. A. A. B. Philips Category: Islamic Books -, Scientific Books : 1995 Language: EnglishThe Quran and Modern Science Booklet
This booklet has statements of a scientific nature contained in the Qur’an and other subjects to specialists from other disciplines. This booklet by Dr. Maurice Bucaille has been in circulation for many years and has been a very effective tool in presenting Islam to non-Muslims as well as introducing Muslims to aspects of the scientific miracle of the Qur’an. It is based on a transcription of a lecture given by Dr. Bucaille in French. This booklet is designed as web page. In this reprint, it was decided to improve its presentation by simplifying the language and editing the text from an oral format to a pamphlet format. There were also passing references made by the author to material in his book, The Bible, the Qur’an and Science, which needed explanation.
Astronomers, zoologists, geologists and specialists in the history of the earth would all have been struck, just as forcibly as medical doctors, by the presence in the Qur’an of highly accurate reflections on natural phenomena.
