Surah Al-Falaq (The Daybreak) is the 113th chapter of the Holy Quran and consists of 5 verses. It is a Meccan Surah and one of the two chapters known as Al-Mu’awwidhatayn (the chapters of seeking refuge). Surah Al-Falaq is of one of the most powerful protection pray. ABOUT SURAH AL-FALAQ OF HOLY QURAN
It is a short five-verse invocation, asking Allah for protection from the evil of Creatures, darkness, blowers (black magicians) and envier. The last two surahs (al-Falaq and an-Naas) of Quran are for protection from various types of evils and the Satan.

BENEFITS OF SURAH AL-FALAQ
Surah Al-Falaq is often recited with Surah An-Nas as a means of seeking Allah’s refuge.
“The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to seek refuge with Allah from the jinn and from the evil eye until the Mu’wadaitain (Surah Falaq and Surah Naas) were revealed, and whey they were revealed He started to recite them and not anything else.” (Tirmidhi)
Hz. Abdullah bin Khabeeb (RA) who said: “We got out once on a rainy night and it was very dark and we looked for the Prophet (PBUH) to pray for us and then we found Him and He said ‘Did you pray?’ and I didn’t say anything. Then He said, ‘Say’ but I didn’t say anything. Then He said, ‘Say’ but again I didn’t say anything. Then He said, ‘Say’ So, I said, ‘What should I say?’ He said, ‘Qul Hoo wAllahu Ahad and Muwaidaitain when you enter the evening and when you wake up in the morning three times and it will protect you from everything.” (Tirmidhi)
English Translation of Surah Al-Falaq
The brief translation of Surah al-Falaq is as follows;
1: Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
2: From the evil of that which He created
3: And from the evil of darkness when it settles
4: And from the evil of the blowers in knots
5: And from the evil of an envier when he envies.”
